Wine circuit in tarn

Gaillac  Visit of : the St Michel abbey-church, the Abbey Museum, the House of Vineyards and wine, the church of St Pierre de Brens private hotels, the Chateau-Art Gallery.

Giroussens  This ancient town is an example of the rebirth of ceramics. Visit of : the House of Ceramics, Martels Garden St Salvi church, the view from Echauguette, the tourist railway.

Rabastens  Rabastens, built all in brick, invites you to relax.  Visit of : the church of Notre-Dame-du-Bourg and its frescos, the Rabastinois REgional Museum, La Castagne château and the banks of the Tarn.  Visit of the cellars of the wine cooperative.

Château de mauriac  XVth century château that has the appearance of a kindly fortress topped with attractive tiles. It is today furnished and decorated by a painter and is open to visits.

Labastide de lévis  Ancient "walled town" from the XIIth century set on a hillock and dominating the right banks of the Tarn.  Of note: the XVth century church and its fortified porchm the panoramic view of the Tarn valley.

Técou  A village founded in the XIIIthe century, set on a "puech" ("hill" in Occitan).  Visit of the cellars of the wine cooperative.

Graulhet  Graulhet, a medieval city dating back to the 10th century, developped into a major leathermaking centre in the 17th century.  Places of interest : the "Maison des métiers du cuir" (leatermaking museum), the Panessac medieval quarter, the leather boutiques.
