Famous for its ceramic tradition and its prestigious production, Malicorne is certainly one of the high places of French earthenware since the 18th century. Recently open, l'Espace Faïence recalls in an alive and ludic way the history of the production. Built on the site of an ancient manufacture, this site invites children and adults to an initiatory course on the traditions that are fascinating even nowadays.

The solesmes monastery
Located in Western France, the Solesmes is a rural Benedictine monastery dating back to 1010 AD. The monastery raises much of its budget from its magnificent recordings and occasionally offers courses and sessions on Gregorian chant to its guests.

le mans by night
At the end of the XIXth century, besides Paris, Le Mans was one of the very first French cities to have electricity. Since January 1, 2000, the city regained this reputation of "ville lumière". Currently around fifty sites and monuments in all the city are integrated in the circuit of light.
