Discover Nice

If the visitors of the whole world know Nice and its famous English promenade along Bay of the Angels, Riviera main town abounds in unknown and cordial attractions.

The old nice  The streets of the old Nice are charming and animated. There are Small restaurants, stalls and shops are tightened there in a maze of lanes which will carry you out to the Rossetti Place and the Holy Cathedral Réparate. To also note the Church of Gesu, and right behind the first slopes which go up to the park of the Castle. If you wish to continue the visit, maintain the course towards the sea, while passing by the Saleya Course, high colors thanks to its frontages and its many markets (in particular the flower market)

Le palais lascaris  What to see, the Palace Lascaris (strait street) where many temporary exposures are organized.  To then continue the visit by the Museum of Modern art and Contemporary art (MAMAC), one of most significant of France (permanent exposures of works of the School of Nice and temporary exposures).

Square and garden  Stroll on Masséna square: the central point of animation of the city  and the gardens Albert 1st.

A museum visit  Devote your time to visite one of the museums of Nice: Museum of Beautiful Arts, Chagall Museum or Matisse Museum. Higher on the hill of Cimiez, the Matisse Museum and the Archaeological Museum go up in the extraordinary history of the city. Do not fail however to take the time of one strolls on the Walk of the English.

Les jardins de nice  For the gardens lover, Nice offers two very beautiful spaces to discover the Mediterranean flora: the floral garden Phoenix (at the end of the promenade des anglais, opposite to the airport) or the botanical garden (on the Flowered Cornice, in the west of the city), less known but quite as interesting.  If you choose the floral garden, do not forget to visit the new Museum of Asian Arts which borders the park.

Excursion on the top of nice  An excursion on the heights of Nice will carry out you towards Aspremont or Gairaut, with very beautiful plunging prospects on Bay for the Angels.

Forest and the collar of turini  Forest and the Collar of Turini: at about thirty kilometers from the edge of sea, between the valleys of Vésubie and Bévéra, come to taste the freshness of these places: châtaîgniers, maples, fir trees, spruce... the collar of Turini located at 1600 meters of altitude offers marvellous panoramas on the surrounding forests, it is the most prestigious stage of the Rally of Assembles-Carlo and it is also the starting point of many excursions.
