If since the beginning famous people have Cannes as their favorite vacation resort, it is not by chance!

The festival, shining like the v.i.p in cannes  It is the appointment for V.I.Ps and for people who want to see them, the strasses and the spangles which decorate the clothes created by the bestknown dressmakers. During the year, concerts, spectacles, exposures, festivals, inaugurate the pleasure round. All the "Gods and Goddesses of the 7th Art" signed their passage by leaving their hands print in "cement" for eternity with emotion and passion, on "the Alley of the cinema stars" bordered by flowered solid masses: The Small cross.

The festival is on the small cross  From the Palace of the Festival on the west side to the seeport Pierre Canto on the east side, it extends such as a fresco where all is colored symphony. It raises the elegance audacious with its de luxe hotels, its Festival, its windows with the prestigious brend...  The street of Antibes competes of coquettery with the Small cross. Suquet as a colored festival  It is Cannes "legends and traditions". Crowned by the walls of the Sarrasine Tower, Suquet dominates the old seeport and delivers an intact past: the Vault Sainte-Anne (12th century), the Museum of Castrates and the church Our-Lady of Hope built during the 17th century. In July, it is in this majestic decoration that is attended the Musical Nights of Suquet, where occur formations, orchestra and famous soloists. The street Meynadier : a mall which overflows life and picturesque. You will find there: cheesemongers, delicatessens... and many shops of local craft industry. Le Market Forville The peasants and the fishermen come here to sell their production... Monday remains the day for the fair with the secondhand trade

Regattas and yachting, the festival of the cannes frie  Its marvellous bay, its idyllic climate, the softness of the sky inspired the world Yachting from 1859. Since, sailing ships of the whole world, yachts and "pointed" chose these roads as "playing ground". Each regatta or competition is a festival of friendship... But the pleasure of" Large Blue " is also : the water skiing, the upward parachute, the sail, the piloting of an offshore oil rig or the shiver of deep-sea diving.

Festival of beauty on the islands de lérins  At 15 minutes from Cannes, a rich historical inheritance. Sainte-Marguerite island shelters old Royal Fort which was built under Richelieu and was transformed by Vauban during the 17th century. You will be able to visit the state prisons built under Louis 14th and the dungeon of the Iron Masked man. You will admire the murals of Jean Gac, and, with the Museum of the Sea, a significant collection of underwater archaeology : amphoras, glasses and ceramics.
