Discover the town of ecouché
 Écouché is a small picturesque city of 1400 inhabitants. It is a village with a great history. The tank “Massaoua”, awaits the visitors with the doors of the city. This monument commemorates the release of the city on August 13, 1944 by the 2nd division of the Leclerc General. One can discover the city through his lanes and his church: built between XIIIème and of XVème century, it is the jewel of Scutched. The city has two factories: the first is metal a factory, the second of glasses. But there are also small factories. Best pastry makings of the Flowering ash there are found. The public garden of Elze, town of Germany twinned with Écouché, is one of the many gardens of the village. The fairground, which draws its name from the gathering of a bovine festival, is the most popular place of Scutched. Each year, in September, this ground accomodates “the fair of Angevine”, celebrates typical Scutched.
