1897 : The cellar of Visan which was created by Ferdinand Delaye to whom we owe the fame of Visan wines, was at the origin a private cellar where the winegrowers of Visan used to bring their grapes.
1937 : Creation of the Cave Les Coteaux de Visan cellar
1967 : Visan obtained the Côtes du Rhône Villages communale appellation d'origine contrôlée (wine of controlled origin) by the August 25th, 1967 decree.
1967 : A new wine-making unit was built to make apart the Visan Villages and Côtes du Rhône supérieurs wines
1977 : Installation of new wine-making vats
1981 : Building of a bottling plant of 1000 m2.
1987 : Inauguration of Saint Vincent ageing cellar, dug into the rock and where the temperature remains stable.
1988 : Birth of a new wine-making unit with automatic "pigeage" vats
1992 : Les Coteaux de Visan cellar established a soil selection soil selection
1994 : Enlargement of the bottling plant
1995 : Creation of a new wine-making plant
2000 : on August 8th : the Cave Les Coteaux de Visan obtained the AFAQ certification for the quality insurance ISO 9002 norm.
2001 : New enlargement of the bottling plant which reaches now 3600 m2 and renewal of the bottling line which can produce 6000 bottles per hour.
