With the Field Juliette April one practises the manual vintage, the sorting of the vintage, the long cuvaison and ageing out of barrels of oak. Quality, tradition ensure Châteauneuf of the Pope Juliette April a fame in the whole world.
Vine cultivation, already known to the Gauls, was widely developed by the Romans. Monks were the first to clear the land and cultivate these vineyards and Bishops were instrumental in extending vine cultivation. In 1157, in keeping with Roman tradition, Geoffrey, the Bishop of Avignon, planted vines and personally managed his own estate and was most certainly the owner of a vineyard located in his fief in Châteauneuf.
The Field Count de Lauze is a family exploitation which exploit 10 hectares of Châteauneuf-of-Pope and 12 hectares of Côtes-du-Rhône wine. Our production is artisanal; that represents 260 hl of Châteauneuf-of-Pope (approximately 34.500 bottles).

La Cave de Saint Préfert offers: white and red "Chateauneuf du Pape", red, rosé and white "Côtes du Rhone", 80 properties and castles of all french wine-growing areas. It has also a specae for regional products: chees and cooked meats, sea products, "tapenade", jams, nougats, chocolates and olive oil.
