A collection of more than 1000 parts of objects and documents evoke, in cinematographic decorations inspired of poetic realism, the everyday life of the French under the occupation then a presentation of Resistance in Vaucluse, within the national epic, apprehends, through the account and testimonys of the actors of the event, major motivations of the behaviors; finally, a third section: "the independence of the Mind" proposes an in-depth reflexion on "the intelligence in war", the ideals of Resistance, their teaching and their significance. It gather a number of clandestine editions, subjected to the censure or coming from abroad, militant reviews, manuscripts of Rene Char, George Rouault... and of original works of Henri Matisse, Joan Miro...
