Verdon sur Mer is situated at the Pointe de Grave, a unique spot where the waters of the Ocean and of the Gironde river meet and mix.There are many and diverse attractions, including the huge beaches both on the Atlantic coast and on the Gironde estuary, forests and marshes, cycle paths, footpaths etc. The waters offer a host of changes : sailing on the estuary, taking the ferry to Royan or going to visit the Cordouan lighthouse, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the world.
