The Sainte-aldegonde treasure: The treasure, which belonged to the Chapitre of Chanoinesses de Maubeuge, is exhibited in the Sainte-Aldegonde vault in the Saint-Pierre Saint-Paul church. It includes the abbey stick, the reliquaire veil, and several statues of saints. THE BÉGUINAGE OF THE CANTUAINES: This pious foundation dates from the first half of the XVIth century. It belonged to Jean Gyppus, senior of the canons of the Chapter of Saint-Quentin which was annexed to the Sainte-Aldegonde monastery.
THE SOEURS-NOIRES CHAPEL: The chapel dates from the XVIIth century. Of baroque style , it is classified Historic building. Installed in Maubeuge at the beginning of the XVth century, the Saint-Augustin nons, known as the Black Sisters, thus called because of their black clothes, had a charitable vocation.
