Montpellier’s parks and gardens
Montpellier’s parks and gardens tell the story of the city.
|
Le domaine de grammont
A former 12th century Grand-montain monastery, the beauty of its park and its carefully main-tainedplants and trees (there is a cedar which is hundreds of years old in the park, and a multitude of essences) make it an enchanting place and a source of endless delights.

Les jardins de l’esplanade
From the Place de la Comédie to the Corum, this is a walk shaded by the many plane trees, embellished with pools, fountains, games areas and seats to rest on.
|
|
les rives du lez
On either side of the Lez, a coastal river whose floods have been controlled, linking Montpellier to the sea, extend the new neighbourhoods of Montpellier: Antigone, Port Marianne, the faculté Richter and soon Odysseum.
