  CIRCUIT OF THE CHURCHES BAROQUES OF THE TOWN OF BASTIA :
  ORATORY OF the CONFRERIE OF SAINT ROCH (street Napoleon): raised in 1604
  ORATORY OF the CONFRERIE Of the Immaculee-design (street Napoleon.) Raised in 1589, this sanctuary hides a decoration of a rare sumptuousness behind its very sober frontage.
  The CHURCH SAINT JEAN BAPTISTE (Gone): Built of 1636 to 1666, the parish church of Terra Vecchia is located in withdrawal of the Old Port which it dominates.
  The CHURCH SAINT Charles-borromee (Right Street): Old church of the college of the Jesuits, it was founded in 1635 and remained under the term of St ignatius loyola until 1747 year when it became the seat of the brotherhood Saint Charles-Borromée. Its high majestic frontage is drawn up in top of a superb flight of steps.
  HOLY PROTOCATHEDRALE MARIE OF The ASSUMPTION: (Citadel): Built in 1604 and 1619 with the site of a sanctaire considered to be too small, this superb church presents a frontage at three pediments.
  ORATORY OF The CONFRERIE HOLY CROSS: (Citadel): Jewel baroque enchased in the citadel, this oratory has a decoration, stuccoed, carved painted baroque and gilded.

  On the right-hand side of the Law courts, walk round of its enclosure and take the first lane on the left, then the staircases bordered of gardens on the line. By climbing these steps of the hill of Strong Lacroix, you can borrow one of the paths which led formerly to the village of Belgodère destroyed by the Turks in 1555. On your right, you can see the convent of Capuchin dedicated to Saint Antoine de Padoue.
  From the Terrace of the convent, wonderful sightseeing on the town and during clear weather on the islands of the archipelago Tuscan: Capraïa, Elba, Assemble Cristo, and Pianosa.
  Arrived at the top of the staircases, continue on your left the road which passes in front of a worthy tomb, typical of the funerary architecture of 19th.
  At the end of the way, take still on your left hand side the second road which leads to Saint Florent. Fifty meters further away, still on the left, a junction will lead you to the vault of Monserato indicated by a panel "Scala Santa".
  A hundred meters away, brood in the greenery, is the fountain of Alleto.
  The inscription which surmounts it is one of oldest of Bastia.
  Two hundred meters further, at the end of the way, you will see the vault of Monserato.
