Discover royere de vassiviere  Located at the south of the department of Hollow, to the crossroads of the Lakes Vassivière and Lavaud-Gelade, the commune of Royère de Vassivière (Communanté de Communes Bourganeuf-Royère) extends on more than seven thousand Composée hectares of a borough with all trade and services, the commune includes/understands thirty four hamlets, distant, for some, of ten kilometers of the borough, for a total population of six hundred and thirty six inhabitants. Commune of medium mountains (between six hundred and fifty meters at the edge of the lake and eight hundred and thirty and one meters with the signal of Picq) it forms integral part of the plate of Millevaches, of the site of the Lake Vassivière in the Limousin and the Regional Natural reserve “Millevaches In the Limousin”.

Visit the mounts de guéret  The Mounts of Guéret consist of wooded hills and green valleys, where, between the valleys of Hollow and of Gartempe throne splendid Forest Massif of Chabrières. Brood with the foot of this forest, the town of Guéret, offers to the surprising visitor an architectural heritage: discover its blue granite buildings “of Maupuy” (Town hall,…) and penetrate in the old city before strolling in the streets of “Chaminadour”, nickname given to the city by the writer Marcel Jouhandeau (to be seen: place Market, Présidial,…).
