  In the morning discoverey of the old districts of the city.
  Before lunch, visit of the Denoix Distillery and tasting of two specialities: Quinquinoix and Nut liquor.
  Lunch in a restaurant of the city.
  In the beginning of the afternoon, choice to visit: the Labenche Museum(contemporary art), Edmond Michelet Museum or the Union Compagnonique Museum. Then you'll go to the Tonnellerie Treuil for a demonstration and an explanation on the manufacture of the barrels, vats for flowers...

  Visit of truffle shop in Chartrier Ferrière,video projection on the mode of production of the truffles, then visit of the plantations. Departure for Collonges-la-Rouge where you will have lunch.

  Discovery ot the Gouffre de la Fage, which has, in addition to its geological splendours: a room of colors, carved stalagmites and shelters a colony of mice.

  Visit of the Domaine de Niel, where you will discover a geese breeding, and you will attend to the cramming. Visit of an old water mill, authentic and entirely restored and an old furnace with wood.
  Departure for the farm of Berle, located a few kilometres from Meyssac. Farmhouse bread tasting.

  Discovery of two picturesque villages: Curemonte, buld out of stones and massive towers preserving the image of a medieval village, and the Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, and its superb Roman abbey.

The feudal castle, of which remain primarily the round tower, known as the "César Tower" (XIth century) and the rectangular keep of Roman style (XIVth century) (visit of the room of the Guards)

  In Donzenac, you will visit: the Ramparts, the Bell-tower,Saint Michel the Vault, the Convent of Cordeliers, the Castle of the Barons de Donzenac.
  The Pans de Travassac are splendid slate sediments exploited since the XVIIth century. An interesting path and a small museum were arranged there. The 7 layers of slate, thick of a few meters, have the interesting characteristic to be vertical and are separated by 6 layers from quarzite. The slate having been extracted until a depth of 200 m, one sees today only immense plates of quarzite, an inexploitable stone.

  In this Limousin country where, from ancient times, the breeding of the horse was practised, the Marquise of POMPADOUR will try to put in place a private stud farm. Her actions failed. In 1761, LOUIS XII creates on the same domain a royal stud farm, still very prosperous till before the Revolution. It is restored by NAPOLEON the 1st, who appreciates the horses. Since 1872 it continues its tradition as a National Haras, developping and improving the equine race.
  Visit of Harras and of the Jumenterie of the RIVER (4 km away) which is as old as the stud farm and it is the only one in France.
