The high loir valley
At few kilometers from the springs of the Loir river, Illiers-Combray is the first place to visit. Welknown for Marcel Proust and the cakes "Madeleines", discover the house of Tante Léonie where Proust used to come on holidays during his youth, le Pré-Catelan and the St Jacques's Church.
