 Museum installed in an old convent of Visitandines. The room of reception currently presents the collection of umbrellas (industry specific to Aurillac). THE FIRST LEVEL: devoted to the history of the Cantal opens on the reconstitution of a Chantillian interior. Close collections of archaeology. THE SECOND LEVEL: devoted to the collections of art. Initially the painting and sculpture of the XVIIe century at the beginning of the XXe century. Then, two rooms present by bearing part of the 300 contemporary photographs of the whole world which the museum has. Among the exposed artists: Batho, Falcon, Fontana, Saudek. Days and opening hours: From February 8 to October 29 included, Tuesday at Saturday of l0h with 12h and 14h with 18h. Additional opening Sundays of July and August of 14h with 18h.
