This circuit, based on regular excursions in minibus(maximum 19 people from aix-en-provence, ensures a really complete discovery of provence

Les baux / arles / the camargue  By small roads, in the splendid Alpilles landscape, arrived in Baux.  Stay of proud lords and troubadours, its Middle Age lanes and the wonderful view of its landscape from the ruins of its castle.  Continuation towards Arles, "the door towards Camargue" and  free time to have lunch.  Entry in the Camargue, Regional Natural reserve: The Road of Cacharel and its many pink flamingos  Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer with its famous legend (visit of the church, free time at the sea side, it is possible to have a bath).  At the end of the afternoon, have a look at the Ornithological Park of Pont du Gau for a discovery, by walking, between marsh and roselières, of the natural environment Camarguais.  Return In Aix.

Apt / roussillon / senanque abbey  Arrived in Apt by Lourmarin and Luberon.  Spare time at the market of Provence. At the end of morning, departure towards the village bursting of colors : Roussillon with its cliffs (Visit, then lunch.)  Before the last stop in the very beautiful perched village of Gordes (panorama), visit of the Cistercian abbey of Sénanque (12th century).  Return In Aix.

Gorges of the verdon  At the end of a countryside, an immense horizon: the limestones plates of High Provence, deeply notched by the splendid Gorges of the Verdon. Complete circuit in the Gorges : entry in the Large Canyon by the Cornice (Col of Illoire, Circus of Vaumale, Cliff of Bauchet, Cliff of the riders, Tunnels of Fayet, Bridge of l?Artuby, Balconies of Mescla). Vertiginous sights, a wonderful spectacle.

Aix and sainte victoire mountain  Morning: guided tour of Aix  Afternoon, full tourof the mountain immortalized by Cézanne. Evocation of the opera and the life of the painter: family property of Jas de Bouffan, careers of Bibémus,  the Cézanne Road: Black castle (external sight),  Tholonet,  the Bridge of the Three Sautets.  Many stops in Aix countryside: Bimont dam,  Vauvenargues (Picasso castle, external sight),  Collar of the Doors (631m),  Pourrières,  Puyloubier,  plate of Cengle,  Saint Antonin

Marseille  morning: market in Aix  afternoon: A tour of the town of Marseilles with many stops to discover an ignored city: the Town hall,  the Old Port (cross the seeport on the board of the "César" ferry boat),  the old Panier,  the Cathedral of the Major and the Old Major,  the Palace of Pharo,  the Cornice,  the small picturesque port of the Small valley of Auffes,  the beach,  Avenue of Prado,  the Castle and the Borély Park,  Castellane,  the Street of Rome,  Prefecture,  Law courts, Notre Dame de la Garde (panorama),  Canebière,  the Longchamp Palace,  the Door of Aix.

Saint remy of provence / avignon  Arrival at St Rémy de Provence closed to the Alpilles and spare time at the market of Provence. After the lunch (free), departure for Avignon.  Surrounded by its walls of the 14th century, this city is marked forever by the the popes stay.  Visit the Palace of Popes, ND garden of Doms (panorama on the "Bridge of Avignon").

Villages poles: bonnieux / lacoste / menerbes  Villages sentinels of Time, with its irresistible charm: Bonnieux, old pontifical field. Lacoste and its anthic castle (castle of the Marquis de Sade) continuation towards Ménerbes on its "stone vessel" then towards the romantic Oppède-the-Old.
