The Center of the national monuments is a publicly-owned establishment of the ministry for the Culture and Communication. It manages, animates, opens with the visit nearly 100 national monuments state-owned property. Some of them count among most prestigious: the abbey of the Mount-Saint-Michel, castles of Angers and Azay-the-Curtain, the castle and ramparts of the city of Carcassonne, the Triumphal arch and the Ste Chapelle, to quote only some of them.
