While remaining with the Farmhouse of Rey, you will have the chance to be initiated with the Provençales habits in which Gilles and Agnès are very implied. You will be able also to put back you in the shade of the plane trees centenaries or at the edge of the swimming pool with the complicity of Bamboo and Fleur, a couple of asses in charge of the reception.
Avignon
Near Avignon, the Mas of the Island situated in only 2 km of the town center, on the island of Barthelasse, the vastest river island of Europe which extends over 700 hectares. Roads and small roads of which she(it) is sillonée are very pleasant to cross(to go through). The island of Barthelasse is dedicated to the agriculture, mainly to the scoops. You can go(surrender) directly in the farms of the island to stock up with seasonal fruits: cherries, sin, apricots, apples, pears... A house of charm, in the heart of Provence Avignon is also a central place to visit the region, in some minutes of car, neighborhood abound in places of interest to be absolutely discovered: the Bridge(Deck) of the Gard, Nimes, Arles, Orange, Alpilles, The Leases of Provence, Holy Rémy of Provence, Luberon, Fountain of Vaucluse, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Vaison-la-Romaine, The Camargue, etc.
This stone residence of the 19th century entirely restored in 2001, is transformed today into a house of hosts of charm. Located at calms along the ramparts, the Field of the Rampart is in centre town and is at a few minutes with foot of the Palate of the Popes and famous Pont of Avignon. The living room of the guest house is open to you, a convivial place where you can relax and have friendly conversations with your hostess, Andrée Roustan. She will serve you a hearty breakfast in the dinner room, when it will be too cool to settle in the garden. Two guest rooms occupy the third floor of the house. The are spacious and comfortably equiped. Each one are fit up with a tv.

Particularly functional, it is decorated with refinement and combines in a harmonious way old and modern pieces of furniture, thus offering all the charm of a house of character and the comfort of a modern dwelling. One reaches it by a small surmounted paved lane of a charming arc built out of typical stone of the village of Provence.

Welcome in my nice and very confortable home in a calm and green street , where you can park very easily. You 'll be at 15 minutes by foot from the historic center or take the bus in the street.
