The village of St Etienne les Orgues has retained the picturesque nature of an authentic old village of the region. It is situated 95 km away from Aix en Provence and 30km from the Luberon.

Situated at the edge of La Bastide des Jourdans (alt. 400 m., pop. 1100), a 13th century rural Provençal village between Pertuis and Manosque, "Le Moulin de Marchand" borders a small stream called the Eze, in the Vallée d’Aigues, at the foot of the Luberon. It includes a main house on three levels, a two centuries old mill-house, a separate holiday cottage (Le Pigeonnier) delightfully converted from a dovecote attached to a former sheep pen, an independant apartment in the old mill, an old canal, a swimming pool and two fields, one of which is reserved for the use of guests.

Superb 17th century farmhouse set in an exceptional 5ha site, with panoramic views to the Luberon and the Southern Alps, surrounded by agricultural land with no overlooking. The farmhouse has been tastefully renovated and comprises: On the ground floor: A fully equipped independant studio, a large "Boffi" kitchen, dining room with a Schimmel piano, and sitting room. On the first floor: 5 bedrooms, a living room with a kitchen, dining room and sitting room, 2 bathrooms and a shower room and 2 separarate WC. Outside: 2 sets of garden furniture, 1 on the north, the other south facing adjacent to the secured swimming pool, with summer kitchen, shower & WC. In the summer, we rent the whole farmhouse. Excluding July & August we can accomodate from 2 to 10 guests. Golf: 6 kms.

In the Alpes de Haute Provence, about the naturel reserve géological, the relais de Chabrières is located at 14km from Digne les Bains (Nice direction). You will enjoy the lovely view onto Charbières mountains from their comfortable and recently renovated 9 guest room.
