The vineyard is consisting of a 10 Ha’s bloc, wholly classified as AOC : Côtes du Rhône gaining from an outstanding southern exposure. Our grapes are more than 30 years old and each plot is surrounded with dry-stone walls. The history of the Domaine is old, as a part of the building dates from the 16th century and we can still see the remains of the different social and agrarian era: bargaining of salt, breeding of silkworm… Seven different varieties are gathered to produce original blends of wines, breathing this lovely countryside, mixture of smooth hills, grapes and fruit orchards: Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre Cinsault, Roussane and Viognier. The soil type of the Domaine is a sandy-clay soil: it provides to our wines the genuine elegance and freshness coming from the sand level, and also intensity and roundness by the clay.

Vincent, son and grandson of vine growers, took over the farm with his wife Sandrine in 1991 and since then, they have been running their land as well as welcoming guests in search of calm, greenery and simple country living. Vincent also raises draught horses for pleasure and likes sharing his passion and hitching up his horses to a cart: you may have the opportunity to go for such a ride during your stay. Amidst the Cotes du Rhone vineyards, in a small corner of Provence, where you can hike and mountain climb or just take a walk accompanied by the songs of the cicadas, come discover Vaison la Romaine, a showcase of Roman and medieval architecture, capital of Voconce country. (The Voconce were a celtic tribe that inhabited the Ouveze Valley before the Roman conquests).

We will be very happy to accomodate you with the Camp-site the Residence. Our camp-site is located in the middle of the Méditerranéenne flora in a whole of relaxation at Saint Remèze in Ardeche.
