Prosper Biney based the hotel in 1863, on the old boulevard of the college. During all the XIXe century its hotel was the appointment of the good company; the professional singer Emma Calvé went down there each time it came to Rodez. In 1884, in the living rooms of the hotel the pioneers found themselves who, answering the call of Clement Cabanettes, were going to found in Argentina the colony of Piguë. The hotel is located in the middle of Rodez, the rooms give on a calm garden, with two steps of the cathedral and districts histories.
