Situated in the heart of Normandy,the Orangerie is a beautifully kept estate in the middle of the lovely coutryside of the Pays d’Auge. The grounds are composed of a splendid garden with EXTENSIVE LAWNS AND A PRIVATE FOREST ,and the house itself is an elegant building of the 18th. century. The atmosphere here is of happy memories and serene calm, where you can enjoy a really restful holiday.
The hamlet consists of a couple of old houses here and there, and the church. The château has been destroyed, but the estate still keeps a certain aristocratic air.
The Orangerie was built to house the orange trees in the winter and has been transformed in the early 19 th. century. The owners have preserved all the original elements of past days, and the antique furnitured rooms are cosy, with all the necessary elements for your comfort.
