Our home “Les Marronniers”, is situated in a small village called La Bruguiere. It is a charming place to walk in and around just enjoying the views and practicing your French with the locals playing Petanque in the shaded square outside the house. This is a “Maison de Maître” (Master’s house), built on three levels around 1812 with an enclosed forecourt, shaded by chestnut trees, where we often dine or just sit and relax. On the other side of the house is a good size swimming pool set in a lawn surrounded by flowering shrubs and plants. Ample garden furniture provides poolside seating under the old fig tree.

At the center of the historic district, the Hotel du Commerce, 12 comfortable rooms, welcomes you to a trip filled with history and culture. In a typical house in northern Provence we can help you discover, with special rates, visit the cellars of the Cotes du Rhone, the descent of the gorges of the Ardèche, hiking nature. The vineyard is consisting of a 10 Ha’s bloc, wholly classified as AOC : Côtes du Rhône gaining from an outstanding southern exposure. Our grapes are more than 30 years old and each plot is surrounded with dry-stone walls. The history of the Domaine is old, as a part of the building dates from the 16th century and we can still see the remains of the different social and agrarian era: bargaining of salt, breeding of silkworm… Seven different varieties are gathered to produce original blends of wines, breathing this lovely countryside, mixture of smooth hills, grapes and fruit orchards: Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre Cinsault, Roussane and Viognier. The soil type of the Domaine is a sandy-clay soil: it provides to our wines the genuine elegance and freshness coming from the sand level, and also intensity and roundness by the clay.

Listen to the song of the cicadas in the olive-trees, Feel the odorous perfume of the lavenders, let the hot wind cherish you the skin, you are in country Spiripontain, you arrived at the Field of the Balsam.

Our Hotel, establishment three stars, comfortable and cordial, composed of twelve air-conditioned rooms, is on the principal place of the city. All our rooms are equipped with WC and privative bathrooms, telephones direct, television.
