Mâcon
Mâcon's first great hotel constructed in the XVIIIth century has been the host for many historic visits : Queen Victoria, the Aga Khan, Colette and Pagnol among others. And flying-boats would drop off their passengers for a stopover on the way to India. Today the hotel offers all the comfort of modem living with retaining the charm of the past, such as its majestic staircase, fireplaces and spacious lounges in which to relax. The bedrooms offer a choise of soundproofing and a romantic or contemporary decor with a splendid view of the Saône. You will find a warm welcome here, as will families too for the hotel offers rooms for 4-5 people and a lock-up garage for your peace of mind. Groups of up to 60 people are also welcome for stays with half-board or bed and breakfast.

Berzé-la-Ville
It is a beautiful stone building with an ochre curved tile roof, on the way from Macon to Cluny. It is a typical house of the Macon region, with a modern, cheerful dining room. This tradition is carried on through the generations with a lot of character, conservatism and respect of great cuisine. Arnaud Lannuel grew up in the kitchens and then went on an apprenticeship tour, working with Orsi, Chavent and even at the French ministry of finance! He is now home again and has chosen a gourmet type of cuisine, based on products of the season. The Bourgogne region is what dominates the dishes, but some other French regions also have their influence. A lovely terrace in the shade, with a view out to a little garden, and a beautiful dining room make this stop an exceptional moment. The service is of good quality and the welcome is warm and friendly.
Arbigny
