Maurice Hermann, Count de Saxe, acquired in 1748 the “castle of the Barn” which bears today proudly its name. Its passage in these places is worth us the very beautiful decorations of the Large Gallery. Knight, Stucco worker of the King, carried out there the trophies of battles and hunting on drawings of the Key. It orders gigantic work aiming at reorganizing the castle and its gardens which made EC residence what it is today.
