Once a restful stopover for pilgrims, Domaine de Châteauneuf is a XVIIIth century Provencal mansion located in the foothills of La Sainte Baume montain range. Amongst the famous guests of the Domaine was Bonaparte's family in 1794, whilst Bonaparte was fighting the Toulon campaign.
The château was turned into a charming hotel well known and highly thought of in the area in the 1950's. In 1999-2000 it was completely renovated and tastefully redecorated ensuring that guests enjoy the delightful Provencal way of life.
